Food For Thought
Last week Marewa, a lady from Food for Thought, came to teach us about healthy food. First she got some drinks out and showed us how much sugar is in the drinks.
We found out there is no sugar in water. There is a little bit of sugar in milk but it is still a good drink to have.
We were surprised how much sugar was in the drinks.
Next Marewa talked about the food pyramid and what food we should eat lots of, some of and a little of.
Then we each had a piece of plastic food and we put it on the food pyramid.
We want to learn more about the food pyramid.
