The Pet Bailey would like to have:

I want a bird so we can look at him and so we can have another baby bird. I want him to be colourful and so we can talk to him and so we can watch him swing in his cage.

Rainbow Lorikeets
They can be found in Queensland, Australia.

The young birds have black beaks and the adults have orange beaks.

They live in rainforests.

The young birds have black beaks and the adults have orange beaks.

They have a tongue that can get nectar from flowers.

They eat nectar, pollen, fruit and seeds.

They live in pairs.

  1. Bailey saw lots of these Rainbow Lorikeets flying amongst the trees in Australia, even at a shopping mall! Bailey liked them so much he wanted to learn all about these birds. He enjoyed looking for facts on the internet with his Mum.
