OUR NEW LEARNING CENTRE

When we went to see the new Learning Centre I saw a big truck and I saw a big crane.

Yesterday we went to see our Learning Centre being built.  Room 10 and I saw a big crane carrying a steel beam.  We also saw a wood pile.  We saw big hills with diggers on them.  We saw and heard noisy machines.

Yesterday we went to our new Learning Centre.  I saw big machines, small machines, tall machines and a bull-dozer.  I saw men putting steel together like the bones of your skeleton.  The concrete is very dry and there is a hill to block the noise.

In our new Learning Centre I saw a big crane it was like a dinosaur and I saw some diggers.  There were walls up and a big hill.  There were wood piles and trucks everywhere.  I am excited to move in.

Today we came back from PE and found that pirates had been in our classroom! They had left us all different coloured pieces of treasure. They were hidden around the classroom and it was a mystery to find them. Once we found the treasure we stuck them on a graph and then we could see how much everyone had.

Making Pictographs

In maths we are learning how to group and display different things. Today we grouped the class in different ways and displayed our findings using a pictograph.  We are learning to write comments about our graphs. Can you look at our graphs and write a comment about what you see.

Discovery

We have Discovery time to have fun and try new things.  You get a chance to do something good and we work with other people

This is our big ice tower that we made all by ourselves. We worked very hard and we can shoot hoops with it. The hoop was the box. We were proud of ourselves because it is the first time we made a tower bigger than ourselves. It was the best.

We tried to make it taller but it kept crashing down.

We even remembered to tidy up together!

I made a floating tower. It goes in the sea to say you are not allowed any further.

My camera can turn into a spy camera. Once you have done spying it automatically turns off.

I worked so hard on making my camera. I like taking photos of big towers.

I have made a track for my car.

This sail boat is in a race. It has a number one on it because it is in the lead.

This has all the food I need in it when I'm playing.

This painting is of me and my Mum. It is really cool.

We made a car track and a town.

We had fun playing together with the mobilo. We had a big battle and it was a really close call. It ended up being a tie.
